One Smile Closer :: the Newton family
Justin was also able to take pics of the beautiful Newton family last weekend. Michael and Heather were friends of ours in college. This was the first time we were able to meet each others children. Their kids are adorable as you can tell. Our photography fundraiser is going really well. Thanks to the Newtons for bringing us closer to our adoption goal!

Your family are beautiful-did you have these photos taken for your dossier?
My son REFUSED to have his photo taken on several occasions, so we gave up! The family photo we put in our dossier shows him turning his face away, but at least it kinda looks like he is kissing me ha ha.

You are right. It is also nice to know we are not alone in this adoption and that other families share our heart for the sweet children of Rwanda.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually not my family. My husband is taking pictures to raise money for our adoption. We call it one smile closer because every photo session he does gets us closer to our financial goal and to bringing home our little girl.
He puts some of the pictures he takes on our blog.
Oh, I am silly! I have read what is written above the photos now...yikes, I think after all that paperwork I have lost the plot:)
ReplyDeleteThat`s a super idea. Believe it or not, my husband has taken an evening job delivering pizzas and all his wages and tips are for our adoption fund. Where there`s a pepperoni and mushroom, there`s a way...
