Let's Try This Again

Tomorrow we are driving to Jackson, MS for our USCIS fingerprinting appointment. This is just another important step in our adoption process. This is our second appointment. We had to reschedule our first appointment due to icy road conditions. The last two times I was scheduled to go to Jackson it snowed. Crazy! The weather forecast for tomorrow is partly cloudy with a high of 72 degrees, so we should be good.

I thought we may have to reschedule again, because Jax was running a fever earlier in the week. He was much better today, though. Of course, he started feeling better as soon as I scheduled a doctor's appointment. Oh, well! He loves going to the doctor, so it was a fun little $30 field trip for us.

I heard our fingerprinting appointment will only take about 10 minutes, so we are going to try to go to the zoo or do something fun. Four hours total in the car is a long time for a ten minute appointment.

I hope it's a fun day, so I have something interesting to post about. I think this may be the most boring post ever =).

    You will be in and out- they are pretty slow here in Jackson! Just don't forget to leave your cell phones in your car!!

    Here in Tampa Bay we had more people than I thought but even with a good number we were in and out in an hour. The actual fingerprinting took about 10 min. They are very strict w/ any electronics, someones phone beeped for a text and the guard warned next beep they would have them out the door w/o prints.

    I was surprised how nice everyone was, even the guard considering he asked/reminded everyone as they came in so he had a right to be frustrated. We ha our just last Friday so we may be really close on the waitlist!!!
